For this student project, I came up with the idea of developing a fictional application that would help students get access to food banks, and food banks receive donations from local businesses. As a team of three, we decided to have three main functions within on this application: a food bank locator for students, a food donation and pick-up feature for local businesses and a food planner for the students.

Targeting the essential
After brainstorming on the project, we realized that we had a lot of ideas of features and content but we were trying to fit too much into this app. As a result, we started to do a competitive analysis by interviewing potential users from student to non-profit and local businesses. Then we created personas based on this interivewed which allowed us to refine and select the most accurate features. In the end the app presented three main one: Food bank locator, Food pick-up and gocery managment.
For this project, our team was made of two UX designer and one UI designer. To make sure the end result would match what, us, the UX designer made we had several iterations of wireframes before handing them to the UI designer.
